Ensure that the separate medical consent form is also complete.
Note that all children must be re-registered at the start of September for each school year in line with Plan to Protect guidelines.
For any issues and concerns, please contact anyone from the CM Stewardship Team (Chillie, Karen, Paula).
Thank you for your heart and willingness to serve in the Fish Room! By agreeing to be part of the Fish Room host rotation, you allow us to make available the room during Sunday services, are supporting our church's younger families, and helping us prioritise our children's safety. As a host, we ask that you:
Liaise with the CM Stewardship Team (Chillie, Karen, Paula) for any incidents and concerns associated with the Fish Room.
Connect and welcome newer families who join the Fish Room during service.
Remind families to sign themselves in and out of the Fish Room using the forms and registration link.
Hang in there with us, we're working on digitising this process!
Ensure that the room instructions are being followed.
Familiarise yourself with Planning Center so we can schedule our hosts in a smooth and sustainable manner:
Block off dates so the system does not automatically schedule you when you are away: https://help.planningcenter.com/en/142872-manage-blockout-dates.html
Choose dates to serve: https://help.planningcenter.com/en/142871-sign-up-for-a-position.html
If you end up being scheduled but cannot make it, do not hesitate to reject the request so that the system can prompt another available person to serve.
If necessary, mediate between households in the Fish Room during church service.
You are not alone, please reach out so we can best support you!
Return the sign-in clipboard after leaving the Fish Room to:
The hall monitor during regular Sunday service, or
The CM Stewardship Team for joint family Sunday services.
Keep up to date on your serving requirements:
Certified Plan to Protect training which needs to be refreshed once a year, and
Vulnerable Sector Check (i.e., police check), which needs to be renewed once every three years.
Parents and guardians must always accompany their child(ren) when using this room.
In the event of wet or snowy weather, indoor shoes need to be worn.
Report broken items or any attention needed to the Children's Ministry Stewardship Team.
For snack time:
Do so on the red table, and
Dry snacks and water only please!
Colouring and crafting are to be done on the red table.
Before leaving:
Sweep all floor areas,
Turn off the lights and fans,
Wipe the red table and chairs clean after snack and crafts, and
Return the Bluetooth speaker to the A/V team.
