We believe the living God is at work,
for the flourishing of all people in all places.
God is making all things (a)new.
We are a people following the resurrected Jesus
grounded in the life of the Triune God
shaped by the rhythm of prayer, word, and shared life.
We walk as part of the whole Church
across time and tradition,
for the good of this city and the world.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people.
God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!”
And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega - the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
(Revelation 21:1-7)
Our vision is an articulation of God’s heart and purpose for the world. From beginning to end, Scripture reveals the Creator who works with a single desire—to dwell among His people. The Gospel proclaims that God delights in humanity and, in love, makes this dwelling possible.
At the centre of this renewal is Jesus Christ. In the way He lived, died, and rose to life, we see the fullness of God’s vision in all its richness and beauty. Jesus became one of us so that we might share in His life. Our lives are gathered up into His resurrection—the life that is truly life: friendship with Christ, fellowship with the Father, and love poured out through the Spirit. As Irenaeus, one of the early Church Fathers, wrote, “The glory of God is a human being fully alive; and the life of humanity is the vision of God.”
The God who renews all things continues His work within us, patiently shaping our lives by His Spirit. This renewal is not distant or abstract—it begins here and now, as Christ’s life takes root in us. Those who walk in the Spirit become signs of God’s future breaking into the present, a people through whom the world begins to glimpse what is being made new. Joined to Christ, our lives bear quiet witness to the Kingdom that is coming—a foretaste of creation restored and made whole in God. As the Apostle Paul reminds us, “We are being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16).
